Frequently asked questions

Prowiser auto-grades every quiz the moment a student submits. Each correct answer carries the marks defined when the question was created. The raw score, percentage, and a pass/fail indicator (based on the cutoff set by faculty) are computed instantly and visible on the faculty's result dashboard.
Yes. From the Grading module, faculty can edit an individual student's score for any question — for instance, to award partial credit on a borderline response or correct a data-entry error. All manual adjustments are logged with a timestamp so the change history is visible to admins.
Results are shown on the quiz completion screen immediately after submission. Faculty can also enable a result-release mode where students see a detailed breakdown — question by question — only after the faculty explicitly publishes grades. This prevents early submissions from leaking answers to peers.
The feedback module lets students rate and review their faculty members on parameters such as teaching quality, clarity, responsiveness, and engagement. Admins configure which parameters to collect; students submit anonymous responses via a dedicated feedback link — no login required.
Yes — completely. Prowiser stores only aggregated ratings per faculty member; individual responses are never linked back to a student identity. Faculty see a summary dashboard with average scores and trend charts, but cannot see who submitted a specific response.
Faculty can view only their own feedback summary. Admins and HODs have access to reports for all faculty within their scope. Reports can be exported as PDF or CSV for institutional review cycles or NAAC documentation.
Prowiser is currently in active development and offered free to early institutions. Reach out to us for onboarding — we'll set up your institution account at no cost during this phase.
Email admin@prowiser.in with your institution name, department, and approximate student count. We'll set up an admin account and walk you through the configuration in one session.
Answers are saved server-side as the student progresses — not just on submit. If they lose connection and rejoin within the quiz window, their previous answers are restored and the timer continues from where it left off.
Yes. All sessions are authenticated with HMAC-signed tokens. Passwords are bcrypt-hashed. The platform uses role-based access control so faculty and admins can only see data relevant to their scope. No third-party tracking scripts are loaded.
